I’ve spent the past few months trying to figure out my financial position, basically wondering where my money is going. With our small family of two just starting out we’ve come to the conclusion that its time to sort it out.
To all my friends out there, I have some advice.
- Clear ALL your bad debt and burn those credit cards.
- Start investing now for your future, be it Super Annuation (you can’t touch this til you retire), Mutual Funds (give someone else your money to invest for you), or build your own portfolio.
- I mean it, start investing now, every day you put it off is a day of compound gains you’ve lost.
- Seriously, start NOW.

- When you’ve invested your money, feel free to monitor it, but don’t touch it unless you absolutely have to.
The longer you leave it, the faster it will grow.
