Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice weasels come.

Now I like Korean BBQ as much as the next guy, but this is taking it to a WHOLE new level…
Take one USB cup warmer, add 30 USB connections and voila! instant computer BBQ!

The name says it all. There’s a plane and there’s snakes on it. Genius.

Its probably going to be complete arse, but I’m going to do my best to see it. Apparently they were going to change the title, but Samuel L. Jackson said he would quit if they did, link, so the title stuck. Its now in the urban dictionary

Check out these t-shirts, I might have to get one…

I’ve spent the past few months trying to figure out my financial position, basically wondering where my money is going. With our small family of two just starting out we’ve come to the conclusion that its time to sort it out.

To all my friends out there, I have some advice.

  1. Clear ALL your bad debt and burn those credit cards.
  2. Start investing now for your future, be it Super Annuation (you can’t touch this til you retire), Mutual Funds (give someone else your money to invest for you), or build your own portfolio.
  3. I mean it, start investing now, every day you put it off is a day of compound gains you’ve lost.
  4. Seriously, start NOW.
  5. Do some reading. These websites are great inspiration:
  6. When you’ve invested your money, feel free to monitor it, but don’t touch it unless you absolutely have to.
The longer you leave it, the faster it will grow.

digital bugsy is in a state of flux. I’ve just about sorted out the styling for the photo gallery, but for the time being the photos from before are all back up, with more to follow. Just click the link up top…

After a brief hiatis of only 8 months I’m back, with a new look!

Its been a big eight months that’s for sure, Anna and I got engaged! Not only that we got married! We managed to throw together an absolutely cracking party at a vineyard on Waiheke in three months. It was a fantastic day, in a magical setting, just perfect for me to give my vows to the love of my life. Some photos…

There is one small, but soon to be rectified, issue. I’m living in Melbourne. Anna’s living in Auckland. It SUCKS! Well, Melbourne rules, which is why we are looking to buy a house here, but the scenerio sucks. Basically, I got offered a job in Melbourne a week after Anna got offered and accepted an awesome opportunity in Auckland. We decided that I would take the job in Melbourne and Anna would work through at least 3 months of her job then we would see what happens. So two weeks after the big day, I left my bride at four in the morning to catch the 6:50am flight to my new home. Four months after that, numerous 3:30am Monday morning departures and 30000 Qantas (I’m going fully Australian) airpoints later, we are finally going to be together in one country under one roof.
